44th New River Canoe Race

Zaloo's Canoes 3874 NC Hwy 16 S, Jefferson, NC | Starts: 8:00 AM | Ends: 5:00 PM

Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from Zaloo’s for a discounted rate.
Zaloo’s also provides a free shuttle on the day of the race.
The average time for new paddlers on this 5 mile stretch of river is around 1 hour.
The race will take place rain or shine!

Begins with staggered starts 9:00 – 10:00 AM
In person registration will begin 8:00 AM

Heart Breaker- a Tribute to Heart

Heart Breaker is the Ultimate USA Tribute to the band HEART.  A national touring act, based in North Carolina was brought forth with the goal of playing each song with love, respect, and a true passion for the original material; their goal is to bring a truly transcendent, and pitch-perfect concert experience, both musically and visually.  With Heart Breaker, you not only get all the greatest chart-topping hits by Heart such as “Alone”, “These Dreams”, “What About Love”, “Crazy On You”, and of course the crowd favorite “Barracuda”, but you also get a taste of the great Led Zeppelin songs that both inspired Heart and were fan-favorites, often played on tour.

Second Helping originated from their friendship with the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and was born at a Lynyrd Skynyrd rehearsal in 1988. Hear the Southern Rock songs they popularized such as “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird”.
