The minute we drove onto the property we were so impressed. The property is gorgeous! We had no idea it would feel so private and to ourselves. The river was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. They had everything we needed and more. We can’t wait to come back in the spring/summer! My only complaint was that it was a little crowded on the desk and kitchen counters where would have like more space to put our things but that’s because they had a lot of things for guest so can’t really complain too much about that. We will be back!

This is our third time staying at this beautiful cabin and each time we leave more in awe. The property is one of the most gorgeous and relaxing settings anywhere - a true slice of heaven. The photos you take look unreal, but it’s exactly what you see. The cabin is so well stocked and the screened porch was perfect for enjoying a meal, listening to the stream, relaxing. The herb garden and flowers were also so lovely! We just cannot say enough about this beautiful, beautiful property and we cannot wait to return!

We loved staying at this cabin for a week, especially relaxing in the big screened-in porch right next to the creek. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, and nice sized showers to use at the end of the day. There is a great fishing hole right by the house where we caught several types of fish. If you enjoy tubing down the river, there is a great place really close by as well.

We love this place so much, I almost don't want to leave a review! I want it to be available every time we want to go! If you like solitude, but with all the comforts of a modern home (great kitchen, a bazillion tv channels, strong wi-fi), this is the place. The screened deck over Cranberry Creek might be our favorite part. Or maybe it's the apple trees and raspberry bushes and tomato plants and herb garden, just waiting to be gathered and used in the well-appointed kitchen. Or maybe it's the creek itself, with the trout and minnows and the occasional heron or osprey or bald eagle. Or maybe it's that West Jefferson with all its charm is close by (but not too close). Whatever it is, we keep coming back, and we hope to for a long, long time.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin was great and very clean and the property was beautiful! We enjoyed some great trout fishing, exploring the property, and relaxing by the river. We had our kids and dogs with us and the e space was perfect for them both. Would definitely like to return one day!

This is the second time we've stayed at the Cabin, and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The setting couldn't be better, the house is well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed apples (and a pear!) from the trees, and tomatoes and basil still growing in the garden. The bed on the screened porch is the best idea ever, and we enjoyed many lazy hours out there in the recliners, at the table, or dozing, listening to the water. We plan to return as soon as possible - thank you for sharing your lovely spot with us!

Creekside cabin is an awesome property with wonderful Cranberry Creek views. It is a well maintained and clean 2 BR, 2 Ba home. We saw a deer and its babies as well as a rabbit on the property. The steep driveway heading out caused my tires to spin a bit on my front wheel drive suv, but this is the only negative about this beautiful property. We will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin at cranberry creek was awesome and suited our needs beautifully. Very long creek access and views on the cabin grounds. The cabin has 30 acres but only about 4 acres was accessible due to trees and heavy underbrush. We saw a few deer and a bunny. Inside the cabin were two bedrooms with attached bathrooms,a large open kitchen, dining room and den. There was a huge screened in porch on the back of the cabin with plenty of seating options. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return here next year. The driveway exiting the property is a little steep. We lost traction on the gravel right at the top of the driveway, even being in low gear in our front wheel drive suv.

--Thank you for the awesome review! Steady speed on uphill gravel roads/driveways is best practice.  We look forward to hosting you again soon.

We stayed in this cabin for the new year. Was a bit of a drive from Atlanta, GA but SO WORTH IT! Spacious, very clean, quiet, and tranquil place. The house was comfortable and had everything that one would need for indoor or outdoor activities. The kitchen was fully stocked with every possible item we might need throughout our stay. The massage chair was a big hit. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others seeking an escape from everyday life 😃

We were in awe of the setting of this cottage! The cottage has all the comforts of home, well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed walking the waterfront, sitting by the firepit. Visited Blowing Rock on Saturday for shopping and a great lunch at the Speckled Trout. Highly recommend staying here!

This property is gorgeous. The owners have provided everything you can think of and more!! Clean and comfortable. 2 masters with comfortable beds. Every appliance and kitchen gadget you would ever want. New gas BBQ grill. Beautiful and comfortable furniture. Breathtaking views. Impeccable grounds with fresh herbs and berries. Wouldn't change a thing! We will be back.

We give the Cabin at Cranberry Mill 5 stars!!! The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans and appliances for cooking all meals. The best feature was the huge screened in porch right! We spent most of our time on the porch. Great place for reading, relaxing, eating meals and playing board games. The fishermen in the group had a lot of fun fishing. The property is beautiful. Nice fire pit, wonderful hammock right next to the water. Would highly recommend!

For weeks prior to coming I stared at the pictures of this place and imagined how awesome it was going to be. It definitely delivers on satisfaction. Cabin is well appointed ! better than most I've stayed at and we rent 3 to 4 times a year. You dont lack for anything ! Not the right time of year for fishing but if it were thats an awesome location. The back porch is the best feature ! It is screened and gated and set has a bed and recliners. Nice place to curl up and listen to nature. Drove over from Clemmons so its only an hour and a half away. Most definitely coming back ! Dave and Ronda Clemmons NC

Beautiful
We stayed for a week in June at The Cabin at Cranberry Mill and it was ideal. The house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. It was a wonderful week. The house was very nice, the kitchen was beautiful, the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and spent considerable time reading and dozing to the sound of Cranberry Creek flowing by. There was plenty of room outdoors where our dog, Ginger, played catching the frisbee in the yard and then cooled off in the stream. We had great success flyfishing and caught (and released) about a dozen or so good sized trout. There wasn't much reason to leave the house - but we did. We met several nice neighbors, went to the winery - which was lovely, hiked some great trails in New River State Park and Mt Jefferson, floated the New River, drove around looking at so many beautiful barn quilts, and visited the lovely towns of West Jefferson, Sparta and Lansing. And ended the week enjoying the outdoor music at Ashe County Park. I might add that the house had big screen TVs in every room, but we didn't turn them on even once! Thank you for allowing us to use The Cabin at Cranberry Mill for an absolutely wonderful week. I should mention also that the folks at Stay Blue Ridge were so helpful and a delight to work with.
