Good location for hiking. Needs a deep clean, especially under beds, couch cushions and cabinets. Large bedroom bed upstairs was very uncomfortable and needs new pillows. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of hot water. Slow response from property managers. Dryer did not work when we arrived-took 3 days to have it repaired.

Loved it. Would not change anything. The view was amazing and had lots of things to do.

Peace Cabin was a great place for us to get away from our daily routine and unwind given the current stressful COVID situation. We had such a great time, hearing the river on the front and back porch, the lovely patch of green field behind the house where our four legged fur baby and toddler could just run around and play. The cabin had everything we needed for a peaceful stay. The proximity to the river and riverside canoe and tube rentals was awesome as well. We will be back soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Peace Cabin! The sounds of the river and the birds was so peaceful and the views were gorgeous. Cabin was clean and comfortable for our family of five and two pups. Would definitely rent here again!

We went in the fall shoulder season. Well maintained property, kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep, internet speed test measured only 1-2 gbps. Wife was unable to do work on VPN connection due to low bandwidth. Ideal location for playing on the New River. We drove the 30 - 45 min to Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia to see the ponies. The days that we stayed, the outer bands of a tropical storm provided rain for two days. Everything remained dry in the cabin and the gentle pitter patter of rain was relaxing. My only gripe is not to the owner, but to the entities other than the owner who are involved in the financial transaction of this rental. In rough figures the rental fee was $500 and the taxes and fees were $300 - a ridiculous amount!

With 2 adults and 2 kids we found this to be thre perfect size. The location could not have been better offering easy access to the areas offerings and wonderful views. House was spotless and well stocked. Only issue was the steep gravel driveway. Our Camry and pickup truck both had a very hard time reaching the top. We had to add extra weight to the Camry (person sitting on the hood of the Camry. Made for a fun memory) and discovered our fully loaded pick up had no issues. But once the gear was removed we had to park it at the bottom of the driveway. 4 wheel drive is the solution. Overall a wonderful experience and I suspect we'll be returning.

We had a great time staying at the Peace Cabin we had three couples and it worked great. The New River is just directly across the street. Lots of activities to keep up busy and entertained. Well stocked home had everything we needed. The Tubing rental place is just right up the street also.

We really enjoyed the cabin! Most of the lights in the downstairs area were out. That wasn’t a big deal for us and I’m sure the previous renters left the lights on causing them to be out. The location is very close to the river and an outfitter. We hiked at Grayson Highlands, took a float trip and did the creeper trail. The family had a blast!

perfect Weekend getaway! Arrived late in evening. Forgot flashlights. House was covered in darkness, all we could hear was the river. In morning we were covered in fog, could not see passed the road. Sat on porch wrapped in blankets, drank coffee and said ahhhh listening to birds and river. Built a fire, took a walk by river. Later went to park 30 minutes away to hike. Found wild ponies and wonderful views. House was clean, location was just far enough away but close enough to get dinner without cooking. All 5 stars
