Country Living at Its Finest
Your own private access to the historic New River is right outside your front door, in this charming country farmhouse. Enjoy the view from the dual-level porches, hot tub, or from the glassed-in sunroom. Better yet: walk over and get in the water! Here you will experience both relaxation and adventure as you dive into unforgettable days of swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and tubing.
The interior of this home offers unique historic features like exposed brick, wood-planked or tin-plated ceilings and a gorgeous, oversized bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower.
On the main floor you’ll find an inviting sitting room with a cozy wood stove and a well-equipped entertainment center. Of course the house includes satellite connections for the TV and free wi-fi for the Internet. The large kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and all the dining accessories you’ll want for peaceful home-cooked meals. The dining room seats six and of course there’s more dining available on the porch. Avoid the expense of eating out at every meal, as well as the drive!
The main level also features a full bathroom and an office/study, as well as the amazing glassed sunroom overlooking the river. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with a twin trundle bed, as well as another full bathroom with a tub and shower.
Often the family vacation isn’t complete without the family dog and here your furry baby is welcome (see pet policy). Your four-footed friend will even have his own large yard, fenced for his safety and your peace of mind.
