We had a wonderful stay at Cloud Rise cabin. It was a beautiful cabin and very well kept! There was also toys and games in the kids room to help keep them occupied on our down times. It really completed out trip to the mountains.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and accommodating space for our ladies weekend retreat. The house itself is simply gorgeous and huge and has everything you could possibly need. And the view off of the back deck is spectacular! I think this house has the best view in the whole neighborhood. We enjoyed the place immensely and will return.

This cabin was wonderful. The view was the best part. We saw mountains constantly, bunnies and deer, it has a chapel down the road, the perfect place for a retreat to get away. Dusty's outfitters gave us a fun kayak day on the New River. Had a blast.

The cabin was beautiful and fully stocked with all we needed. The community was nice and quiet. We were able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The only downfall was that we were not able to utilize the stereo system. One suggestion would be to add blinds or curtains in the top window of the master bedroom to block out the sun hitting your face while sleeping in. All together, we really enjoyed this house and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Cloud Rise! The cabin was beautiful and so clean and spacious! I would stay here over and over! The views are absolutely beautiful and watching the bunnies and seeing all the deer nightly from the deck was a bonus! It’s a beautiful neighborhood.

House was in an excellent area. Loved the views of the mountains and the wild life. We had a deer walk up into the front yard with us outside. Looked at us and then went on like it knew us. Seen a nice rainbow froythe back deck also. Definitely will go back again!!!

This was one of fav places to stay by far. Awesome access to near by hiking trails and just 29 miles from Grayson highland State park. Loads of outdoor adventures to be had within just a few miles. Outstanding sunset and sunrise views. Cabin was so cosy and warm. Aircon is basically silent and keeps you very comfortable. Wifi is excellent. Home is very well maintained and just stunning!

The cabin is located in a lovely community. The views from the 2 decks are fantastic, it is clean and well cared for. We stayed with another couple and there was enough privacy as the master is on the main floor and the other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. The only thing we recommend is adding a few rocking chairs in the back. That's where we spent most of our time enjoying the views.

Prompt and effective communication; Extremely clean and very-well maintained property! Terrific view from the deck! The deck is superb and surrounds the entire property on both upstairs and downstairs! Fully loaded kitchen appliances, multiple smart tvs! Beautiful mountaintop large sheltered swings with breathtaking views!

This house is beautiful! The views from the deck are postcard worthy. The house was extremely clean and had everything you need for a great weekend. The community around the rental is so well maintained and beautiful. Wildlife is abundant and the location is perfect for enjoying the beautiful outdoors. We are looking forward to returning in October!!

Everything was nice. The exception is that the front door and porch needed to be swept.  Also, one of the blinds in the master bedroom sliding door isn't working. The magnet that raises and lowers the blind keeps falling off. The master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable and is too soft. You might consider replacing it with a new mattress. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again.

It was a breathtaking view of the mountains The cabin had everything you could possible need. The two ladies I had the pleasure of making arrangements with could not have been any nicer. We only stayed upstairs as there were only two of us. I would give it the highest ratings. The only things that would make it even better would be rocking chairs with couch-ins on the decks. The few chairs were hard and small and didnt fit the beauty of the cabin. I hope to go again soon .

As always, we loved our trip with Stay Blue Ridge. It was our first time at the Cloudrise home and our first time visiting during the winter. We flew in to GSO and rented a car for our trip. Cloudrise is a beautiful, comfortable house and is located in a quiet, gated community. We had an uninhibited mountain view from our back porches, and there were several other spots within the neighborhood where we could relax on a swinging bench or in a gazebo and see picturesque views of the mountains. From the neighborhood, we had direct access to a huge wooded park with trails, a stream running through it, and lots of deer, bunnies, and birds. The main bedroom of the house has a skylight, and on nights when the sky was clear, we could see the moon shining as we fell asleep. We built fires in the main floor fireplace each night; we bought firewood at the nearby general store and used pine cones as fire starters. We went spelunking at Bristol Caverns in Tennessee, and went hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia where we saw the wild ponies, hiked the Appalachian Trail, and hiked to a waterfall. There are tons of other nearby state parks we would have visited if we'd stayed longer. Whenever we had a question or needed help, Stay Blue Ridge and our realtor Jerrita Roark were immediately responsive and friendly. They truly go above and beyond for their clients and we look forward to renting through Stay Blue Ridge again.

Peace and Quiet
My family and I stayed at the cabin and enjoyed the tranquility and views. The cabin is well maintained and had every thing we needed to cook and wash our dirty hiking gear. The cabin's backyard is North Carolina State Park and you can see the peak of Mount Rogers from the deck. There is an entry point to North Carolina State Park right within the gated community located at Deer Valley road and Scenic Lane. We spent a couple days just hiking the mountains in the area next to the New River. We also went to hike Stone Mountain, Grayson Highlands, New River State Park and Mount Jefferson that are nearby the cabin. The beautiful views along with the peace and tranquility was exactly what our family needed after lovely days of hiking. The community also has a clubhouse that has ping pong table, pool, and a small gym. We're thinking of returning during the summer months to enjoy the kayaking and mountain biking at the parks and rivers the area has to offer.

Spectacular Home and View
We were so pleasantly surprised. We were expecting a cabin and it was more like a lodge. Accommodations were excellent and very clean, but it was that beautiful view that made it so special. There are no neighbors close by and it’s in a small, well kept gated neighborhood. Safety was never a concern. Loved having the two levels, where the kids could watch tv and play games at night while the adults socialized upstairs. We will be back!
