This is our second time booking this cabin. Small but nice cabin on the river that is close to West Jefferson. We had another amazing time and I am sure we will again when we stay there next time.

Such a wonderful little cabin. It was so peaceful. Having coffee and listening to that river while watching the sunrise was heaven. Will definitely stay again!

Such a sweet little two-bedroom cabin right on the river with a fire pit and gas fireplace and covered porch. My wife and I and our dog stayed a few nights. small cabin but the beds were comfy and the shower was hot and the gas fireplace was cozy. We grilled out and sat by the fire pit and tubed in the river and had the best time. We will definitely come back here. No problems and management was available at all times and so helpful.

We had a wonderful time. Very peaceful. Great location. The best part for my wife and me was sitting on the porch facing the river and drinking coffee. We saw deer, ducks, rabbits, crows. We will definitely be going back and we give it a very high recommendation. YOU NEED TO BOOK YOUR RESERVATION!.

We had an enjoyable time. The house was clean and perfect for my wife and myself. How peaceful it was sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching the river flow and watching the wildlife eat and play. We would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet and peaceful time just to get away. The house is only about 15 minutes from West Jefferson if you need groceries or would love to eat at a restaurant. We will definitely go again.

Lovely cabin. Great air conditioning. Riverfront view from the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch. Loved dealing with these people. Very accommodating. Very clean. No complaints at all!! I hope to go back one day!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Open grassy yard with the river right out the back! Comfortable bed in the main bdrm! Had the basic supplies needed and a few nice touches. Loved the lodge feel in the main area and appreciated the wifi and TV for when the rains came. The addition to the covered porch/deck was REALLY nice and enjoyed it thoroughly. Nice place to dry those wet things, too! Thanks!

This is a beautiful and safe location. The peace and calming of the mountains and river are all very relaxing. Most everything necessary for cooking meals is provided. Recommendation: bring food, snacks and drinking in with you. The closest store is a couple of miles away.

Clean comfy cabin with wonderful view of the river. No toaster but small kitchen has all the other basics. Had a great couple days with family.

Little Red is a good alternative to a hotel or B&B for short stays, convenient to the Lansing/West Jefferson areas. It is clean and very cozy, located right on the New River. We will book there again!

Beds were 10/10 comfortable. Probably one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at. Off the beaten path just enough to breathe and relax away from the world but close enough to get groceries. The yard was perfect to play with the kids and run around. The inside was very nice and comfortable.

Our family had a wonderful 5 days & 4 nights at this property. It was a very convenient place to stay during a Wedding venue at the "Timber Rivers Wedding & Event" location. Check in was very easy and they even allowed us to check in early for a very small fee. We drove 10 hours to get there from Delaware. Our first impression was the covered wrap around porch with very nice rocking chairs with a peaceful view of the babbling brook. They have a nice firepit that allowed us to make a beautiful bon fire at night. Remember to bring your own kindling to get it started. But my son found wood under the porch. Many places sell it right outside of their store. Upon entry, we were very happy to observe nicely appointed décor that was very comfortable. We were surprised to find 3 Smart TVs in the cabin. 1 in Family room & 1 in each bedroom. The fridge was more than enough space for our stay & very clean. Most everything seems new. On chilly nights, we would use their Gas fireplace. But, be careful, the cabin will go from 60 degrees to 90 degrees in only 15 minutes on "high" setting!!! I was so shocked that I even took a picture of the thermostat because me extended family would not believe me when I told them that. So, we would recommend that you START the fireplace on the Lowest setting and if that is not warm enough after 15 mins, slowly adjust upwards. It is so efficient, that I now want to replace my own home's wood burning fireplace with this one! If you choose to bring your dog, there is plenty of grass that your pet can run and play in between the house, river and neighbors. We would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in this area. We also recommend the "Stay Blue Ridge" organization because they are very kind, considerate, responsive and have a huge selection from which to choose.

This was the cutest brand new little cabin located DIRECTLY on the river. 15 minutes to West Jefferson where we went for every meal. Secluded enough but surrounded by other cabins (but not TOO close) so you didn't feel TOO secluded. We decided to book for a last minute getaway and had an ABSOLUTE blast. BOOK IT!

Peaceful
If you are looking for a quiet get away, this is the place. Our favorite part of the visit was sitting on the porch watching the river and the occasional wildlife. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The cabin isn’t too far from West Jefferson or Boone if you want to do a little shopping. We are looking forward to booking again next fall to enjoy the foliage.
