Indoor Spaces

• Sleeping arrangements: Four spacious bedrooms, built for accommodating large groups and families. On the main floor, the primary bedroom features a king bed and a walk-in shower. The second and third main-level bedrooms have queen beds. The fourth bedroom is on the lower level, with a king bed and a log-style bunk bed.  

• Main level: Cathedral-style wood ceilings encompass a spacious open floor plan great room. Catch Blue Ridge views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area while lounging around the gas-powered stone fireplace. You’ll melt when you see the expansive kitchen, equipped with all of the tools and appliances you need. 

• Lower level: Downstairs is the hangout zone. Here, you’ll find an 8ft. pool table, skee ball, a card table, an exercise bike, and a play area for kids complete with a Graco Pack N Play. Want to relax with a cocktail? Make use of the lower-level dry bar and seating. Feeling in the mood for a film? Ample seating in plush recliners arranged around a Smart TV creates your own private movie-viewing haven. 

• Mountain Dreams comes with WiFi, AC, and Smart TVs for streaming.

Outdoor Spaces

• You may feel hidden in private seclusion, but you’re actually within a 10-minute drive of downtown West Jefferson. Stop by boutique shops like Sisters on Main or Maizy’s on Main to find the perfect mountain outfit and décor. Stroll into the Honey Hole to sample local honey products before taking a cheese-making tour at Ashe County Cheese Factory, just down the block. 

• Need some extra libations? Equally close to Mountain Dreams is Old Barn Winery and Vineyard, a picturesque winery where you can relax and sip with a wine tasting. You might even catch some live music! More of a craft brew person? Check out New River Brewing Ale House or Boondocks Brewing in downtown WJ. 

• Ashe County is packed with family-friendly adventures. You’re less than 30 minutes from several canoe and tube outfitters on the New River, so take a float and soak in the sun. Explore the trails and playgrounds of Ashe Park with your kids (there’s also an 18-hole disc golf course, skatepark, and fishing pond, all free to the public). For some of the most incredible overhead views of downtown WJ, drive up to the Mount Jefferson State Natural Area overlooks and trails, great for novice and young hikers.
