The cabin was perfect. Very well built and very clean. Also well stocked. Could use a few more curtains/blinds on windows. Parking was very tight and the river access trail was not close to the cabin and turned out to be a strenuous hike. But overall very happy with oaccommodations for our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. Everything was clean and well stocked. Parking was a little tricky with a Toyota Tundra truck, but we managed. We had a really relaxing stay and would choose this cabin again in the future.

We enjoyed our time in West Jefferson. Our cabin was very cozy, relaxing and clean. This was our second time staying at Necessary Time by the River. It is convenient to West Jefferson and the surrounding area. We look forward to returning soon!!!

This is the second time I have stayed at Necessary Time and will rent it again. We spent a lot of time on the covered deck with morning coffee, chatting, reading, and just sitting quietly listening to the rain, wind, and birds. Housekeeping does a great job of cleaning. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the beds and den furniture (plenty of seating) are comfortable. This house is the second house of three houses on a short gravel road. You can see a glimpse of the first house through the trees and can only see the third house if you go around a bend. The road ends at the third house. Phyllis at SBR was very pleasant to work with and encouraged me to contact them should I have had any questions. We had a lovely time!

My husband and I had the best week!Necessary Time was the best location and the details and coziness of the home was more than we could ask for. The home had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable and the place was so clean. I loved how it was decorated. Erin was so awesome also. She was so friendly and answered questions that we had. I would recommend going through this rental company and staying at Necessary Time.

First, let me give kudos to the rental and housekeeping team. The customer service at Stay Blue Ridge was excellent and the house was spotless. We also appreciated the fact that the paper products and bed linens were of higher quality than what is found in most rental properties. It was really like being at home. I was also impressed with the quality of the cookware. Overall, everything about this property was great for the two of us and we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. There are a few things to be aware of. We drove a full sized truck, and there was no way we could park in the parking area. We parked along the edge of the road (after making what my husband called a 27 point turn to get turned around and as far off the road as possible). There was no storage in the second bedroom,so anyone using that room will need to be prepared to live out of their suitcase. (There was what appeared to be a closet, but it was not available for use.). The location is much more populated than I thought is was going to be, although we didn't see very many people at the houses until Friday. This is a wonderful home base a visit to West Jefferson and the surrounding areas, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
