Our family enjoyed our stay at Our Place to Paws cabin, and we hope to return again soon. The house was comfortable, had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner, and had some nice touches. We enjoyed our stay and certainly wish it could have been longer! This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Very steep initial part of the driveway that abruptly turns to the right so you may want to have someone get out and provide assistance if you cannot see where your car is going to go for the first time entering the property. Many ways to entertain yourselves at this property or just relax and enjoy the views.

This was our 2nd time visiting Our Place to Paws. We live the house and all the amenities. If we could make a couple suggestions: - have the firewood inside the house so the dampness of the logs doesn’t create difficulty starting fires and doesn’t require the renter to have to bring the wood inside - the TV streaming issues differ from room to room. Perhaps move to all Roku for less confusion? When we did have trouble with the TV set up due to a previous renter licking their Netflix account we had immediate support from Stay Blueridge. Thank you for that!

This house was awesome. The on line pictures are good, but you have to see it in person to appreciate the true beauty of this house. The house offers so much the pool table, darts and video game was such a hit with our family. We will be visiting again. Loved our stay and the gift basket was such a wonderful gesture. We found the property to be as advertised, which unfortunately is not always the case. A beautiful home, excellently constructed, decorated, equipped and maintained. Set on a beautiful mountainside, with an exterior that reflected the tasteful and well designed interior. The neighborhood has very nice homes, it's quiet, peaceful and provides a feeling of a remote get-away. The property management, StayBlueRidge, were exceptionally responsive and thorough. A really nice place to explore NWNC from, or to just hang-out and relax!

This is our second visit here at Our Place to Paws. The home is large enough to accommodate our adult children and their families comfortably. Many activities to keep everyone occupied downstairs in the game room and/or plenty of board/card games along with a large gathering table for family game time upstairs. We enjoyed the use of the gas firepit on the patio several nights. The kitchen is adequately stocked with all that is needed for cooking dinners and gathering/eating together.

Appreciated the well stocked kitchen with absolutely everything our 3 families needed. It was nice to have our dinners together at the large dining room table with a spectacular view of the mountains! The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a tree and many holiday decorations. We used the wood burning fireplace every night. The grandchildren enjoyed the ping-pong table, pool table, and learning the game of darts! The heated tile floor in the master bath was a nice surprise. We all had a relaxing time! This property is well apportioned, inviting, accommodating, comfortable and special. From the moment we began communicating with the wonderful staff at "Stay Blue Ridge," (to reserve the house) until we packed our luggage and HAD to leave, we had a wonderful experience. The house is roomy, the gourmet kitchen is top-notch, the bedrooms provide privacy for all guests and the downstairs bar/recreation area proved to be fun for all of us. I highly recommend this terrific property to anyone looking for a stress-free, relaxing, beautiful, rustic (but with all of the modern conveniences of a luxury resort) property to share quality time with family/friends. We rented the house for a nearby family wedding and four couples enjoyed being together (all under one roof), rather than staying in hotel rooms. FABULOUS HOME! FIVE STARS!!! (only because there is no such thing as a higher rating)

So rare to find a beautiful place that allows dogs. This place was amazing. The cabin is so large with plenty of space for large groups. The kitchen is well stocked and the game room is amazing. Everything in this cabin was top notch. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and furnishings. This location is convenient to several towns and several wineries. Highly recommend. We hope to visit again in the future.

Choose this location for our Thanksgiving retreat as it was half way between our home and my in-laws. The cabin itself photographs lovely but it far more beautiful in person. The home was perfectly clean, spacious, well maintained and immaculate in everyway. Perfect for entertaining and in such a cute, Hallmark like, little city.

Most spectacular home with an incredible setting. The amenities were over the top, highly recommend this cabin in the woods. Very spacious with large rooms and most unique lower level walk out with the most amazing bar/billiards table. The home is immaculate and well furnished, highly recommend.

Only thing I'd say is the numbers to the house were not visible in the dark. There is a post blocking them so be sure to have a second set of eyes looking if you are arriving after dark.

We have been blown away by the minute details of this Cabin. The house has things like - A karaoke system, Xbox games, Amazon Prime, Birdfeeders, Gas Grill and so many other smaller details. It is highly recommended if you have 3 families with kids.

We were there to attend our daughter's wedding at the Twickenham House just a short distance away. The cabin homes locality is a private location that is out away from town that offers seclusion, yet close enough if something is needed. Driveway is a bit intimidating at first but manageable. Once inside, we found that the home was clean and well equipped for a large group. The house is spacious, updated, and offers many high-end amenities. Kitchen is fully stocked and a perfect gathering place for large groups. The home provided plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The basement/game room was a hit with our group. It was a bit chilly and windy during out stay, however envisioning the outdoor patio space in warmer weather, having the doors open and enjoying the solitude of the location and beautiful views intrigues us to visit again

What an amazing cabin!! Everything you could possibly need has been thoughtfully provided. The view is amazing and the property exudes peace and tranquility. Our family enjoyed our stay and plan to book this cabin again. We spent a lot of our evenings downstairs in the game room laughing and making memories. We also enjoyed the warmth of the fire each evening. This is a one of a kind cabin that will give you amazing memories and merriment. My only suggestion is that on arrival days you leave some lights on outside the cabin to make it easier to find. We missed the entrance and had a hard time finding our way due to the darkness. We are from Miami, Florida and wanted to start a new family tradition with our baby, dog, and the rest of our family spending the holidays in somewhere cold. This cabin was more than we could have ever imagined. The decorations, the appliances, games - the notes all over the cabin with information, all the small little details that go far beyond what anyone would ever expect. We loved every single minute of it and cannot wait to return!!

This is a large timber frame home with every feature one could want. The beds are all very comfortable and the furnishing are all as new. The drive way is a little unnerving at first but easy to handle once you get the hang of it. The staff at Stay Blue Ridge was very helpful as usual. We were lucky to get to the mountains as the color started blossoming!

My family and I took our first extended family vacation and chose "Our Place to Paws". We couldn't have asked for a better house to stay in. Anything we thought we needed for our stay was already included. The house and the views were beautiful. The beds slept great and the layout of the house was awesome. We spent most of our time in the game room and had a blast. My only one suggestion is to have a better sign at the road to show where the house was. We missed it the first time, but quickly figured out the location. Other then that, everything was perfect! We hope to be back soon!

We had 12 people and two dogs staying at "Our place to Paws" for three days. The house is large and well appointed with several gathering places including a large back deck with gas firepit, large great room with fireplace, spacious kitchen with modern appliances, cozy game room/bar and double car garage with corn hole boards, tubes and ping pong. Parking was ample for four cars. Sleeping arrangements are very comfortable for four couples and additional bedding for younger adults in open area's was sufficient. A short hike to a stream and wood burning firepit on the property was nice. We found the North Fork of the New River only a few miles from the cabin a pleasant place to Kayak, tube and fish. The house is also close to disc golf, shopping and hiking trails. This is a fine home to accommodate a variety of interests and activities in warm and cold weather.

I can't say enough about this lovely house. It was super clean and had everything you could need in the kitchen! We spent a LOT of time in the basement playing darts, pool and games. The kids got a kick out of the old arcade games as did we. We also enjoyed the fireplace and having a "real" (non gas) fire! Unfortunately, we got snowed in for an extra night (darn - not!) :). The rental company was very easy to deal with and responsive. HIGHLY recommend this rental and we WILL be back!

This house is wonderful!! The owners have thought of everything! The kitchen had everything necessary to cook for a big group! And all items are good quality, no expense was spared in any part of this house. There is plenty of room to spread out or all be together. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace every night and watched the snow fall! The bedding and pillows are fabulous! The master bath is absolutely dreamy! We will definitely be back! The driveway is not marked well with the house number and the driveway is a little tricky if there is ice with snow but that is the only thing that was a slight negative. We would still stay again anytime! The rental manager was very attentive and helpful!

The house was amazing and very very clean. I did not worry about the Covid due to the outstanding job the cleaning crew did. The view from the wrap around back deck was amazing. It has a gate so dogs can hang outside without worry of escaping. The Master bedroom was spacious and sits alone upstairs. The bed was comfortable and the heated bathroom floor was a gem. The owners really did think of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked of appliances, pots, pans etc. There is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. Again the owners did not miss a thing. The driveway is very steep but was no problem for us. There is a trail that leads down to a creek.where the fire pit is. It is peaceful but a good work out going back up so it may be hard for some. Dogs have some room to explore off this trail but there’s no real area you can play ball etc. We walked the dogs on the street for exercise and worked out great because no cars hardly ever and mostly uphill. It is very quiet with only the sound of the creek. Thank you for sharing your place it was an amazing way to spend a birthday.

The home’s design and layout was perfect for a large family. (There were 11of us.) The Home is large enough to allow all of to gather in the playroom, living room, HUGE porch and dining area. Having said that, the home also allowed any of us the opportunity to be alone and relax if we chose to.

I cannot express enough how pleased we were with the amenities and furnishings in the home. Comfort and function in every area of the home have been attended to. The owners of this home obviously have chosen to let their guests feel Like they’re at “home” and not in a rental house.

Kudos to the heated stone floor in the master bathroom !! To get up on a cold morning and have your bare feet touch a warm floor is simply a slice of heaven.

Our children (ages 29 to 3) loved the games and the basement was their sanctuary. I hope we didn’t wear out the dart board and the pool table!!

We’ve already recommended the home to friends, and hopefully another visit is in our future as well.

Thank you for making such a phenomenal home available to our family.

We had two families with 4 teenagers and the house was perfect. The adults took the two master bedrooms with king beds and private baths, while the kids both had rooms with queens. Since our boys were 14 and 17 one of them slept on the Murphy bed and said it was very comfortable. We pulled it down right before he went to sleep and put it back up when he woke up ~ super easy and out of the way. I was amazed to find a pull out couch in the den upstairs and futon in the downstairs bedroom. I realized we even had space to bring a few more friends for the kids (but so glad we didn’t - LOL).

We spent our afternoons out biking the Virginia Creeper Trail, hiking at Grayson Highlands and tubing, so we cooked at the house every night. The kitchen was amazing! It was stocked with every utensil we needed and even had good knives. We enjoyed coffee on to covered part of the deck in the mornings and even sat out there in the evening when it was raining. Loved the sky lights out there!

The kids spent most of the evenings playing pool, ping pong and darts while we enjoyed the gas fire pit on the patio. We had a lot of rain so we only had a fire at the pit but the rive one night but it was great. We put up our tree hammocks and roasted hot dogs and made S’mores by the fire. The seating was perfect for all of us to enjoy the night.

The house was perfect! It was so hot in South Carolina the break it the weather was exactly what we needed. We played a few rounds of pool with the kids, but honestly it was about 70 degrees every night so we enjoyed being outside as much as possible on the great wrap around deck!

We plan on coming back next summer!

Over all the experience was great! A couple of quirks that we were not use to.....making sure that there was only 2 loads of dirty linen left for housekeeping (with 3 bedrooms (2 king and 1 queen)being used that alone took up a lot of loads and then you have to factor in towels for 6 people and the kitchen linen. Not use to having to do laundry. The other quirk was that we were only left 2 dishwasher soaps and we were there for 4 nights. But my family conquered these and enjoyed our Home Away from Home!

We also offer a "starter supply" of products like dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc., as outlined in the check-in details, so that gets you started but recommends you bring more if staying more than a couple of days. You can tell that the owners of this home spared no expense in both building and furnishing this wonderful house. From the great bar area with a beer fridge to the wine cooler in the kitchen. The kitchen is furnished with everything you'll need for your stay. The bedding is great and plenty of televisions to keep all happy. The location is away from town to give you seclusion but close enough to arrive there in 10 minutes. Overall a great place to stay. The staff from Stay Blue Ridge were great.

First off, the cabin was very spacious and gorgeous. The online photos don't provide all the gorgeousness. My friends and I really enjoyed the cabin. Only a couple of small things I would recommend. It would have been nice to have a hot tub. Although, the cabin provides more than enough fun activities in the downstairs space with the wet bar, pool table, ping pong, darts and lots of board/card games. We took advantage of those fun amenities. We didn't get around to playing corn hole. Another tip is to provide more detailed description of directions to get to the cabin. Once arrive on the small pavement, the GPS will tell you that you have arrived. A better direction description would be to provide additional directions after passing the Phase III sign. Lastly, I would recommend to have an exterminator to go out to spray for ants. We had issues with big black ants in the kitchen area, so we went out to get a can of Raid to spray around the doors amd windows.

Overall, this cabin is well upgraded with all the latest stainless steel appliances, tv's and much more. It's secluded so you can enjoy some great nature relaxation. It would have been nice to have more of a view of the mountains while relaxing on the spacious deck. The trees were blocking the view. If they were trimmed just a bit, the view would really pop out at ya. Any group of friends or a large family will definitely have enough space for a great relaxing and fun time in this cabin. I highly recommend it!
