This is a beautiful cabin in such a peaceful location!! We enjoyed the mountain views and being so close to the New River. The deer feeding experiencing was pretty neat too, especially for our little girls! They loved putting the food out for them and couldn't wait to see them show up every night. The cabin was probably the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We loved the special touches with all the holiday decor also. We felt right at home! The cabin was very spacious and had a well stocked kitchen, plenty of games and books for the littles too. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

We have stayed at a lot of homes offered by stay blue ridge and Ashe high country realty. Jerita is the best and always helps us find the right house the house we wanted was unavailable this time so we had to back up and punt. Thank god we did. I believe we have found the perfect home for our family gatherings and I have not one single complaint about any part of the weekend. We arrived to a fully stocked home that was very clean, yard wAs well kept and everyone in our group had ample space for their own needs. Just before dark we saw 15 deer and then the next morning we saw a large buck cross the back yard. The hot tub was the largest we have enjoyed in all our excursions and the weather could not have been better. We walked some down the driveway and the kids got Christmas tree photo opps and they walked down by the river too. The younger kids enjoyed the ping pong table and my wife and I just enjoyed sitting and watching tv and catching up on sone much needs downtime Definitely already looking to find a time to return in warm weather to bring the kayaks Love love love this house

This is a beautiful 5 star cabin retreat. The cabin has everything you could want with multiple comfy bedrooms and beds, fully stocked bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen even with spices and things that you always have to run to the store to buy, tons of games, ping pong, foosball, corn hole, hot tub that actually worked the entire time, TV’s on each floor, and the list goes on. Outside, the covered deck is great to sit and relax. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and lots of bunnies. The New River is across the street from the property and once you walk over to it the river views are great. One thing I had to learn was while in the cabin, you need to turn on your WiFi calling after connecting to the WiFi service, otherwise you can’t make or receive calls due to the area being in a dead zone. Since we had a 6 year old with us, we found traveling to the Elk Shoals entrance of New River State Park to be the best river experience for us. That area has a mixture of very shallow water(6” or so) to 3’ or so in other areas. It also offers a beach to relax on. Our older son enjoyed the river across the street from the cabin, as it was consistently 2’-4’ deep. At night, you can see stars in every direction. It’s also sooo quiet at night outside. All you can hear are the crickets.

The Silo was a perfect spot for our group of 9! We all had plenty of space and sleeping accommodations exceeded what we were expecting. The community River access was a short walk right across the street and had a fire pit we were able to use. Would definitely recommend this stay!

Absolutely Peefect
The photos and description of this beautiful cabin do not do it justice. Extremely well-kept, beautifully decorated and very comfortable for an extended stay after a friend’s wedding. The location on a cleared knoll (old pasture?) provided beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Full bath on every level provided convenience and privacy. Well-appointed kitchen. The light switches are all labeled; thank you! Plenty of activities without leaving the cabin - river access, ping pong, foosball, cornhole, hot tub, board games. The owners even keep deer corn and birdseed on hand! Easy access to local attractions, but we spent most of our time right here. We will check this cabin FIRST for availability on our next trip. Book this place!! You will not be disappointed!!
